Donald H. Hershberger, 71, of 833 S. Juliana St., Bedford, died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 1990, at his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Saxton the son of the late Anson H. and H. Ethel (White) Hershberger. He married Ruth(Petrea) Feb.9, 1946.

He was preceded in death by two infant sons. Mr. Hershberger, along with his wife, operated the Hershberger Wallpaper and Paint Store for 40 years before retiring in 1985. He was a World War II army veteran and served in the Pacific Theater. He was actively involved with the Fall Foliage Committee and co-chaired the event for six years. He was also in charge of inventory at the Fort Bedford Museum. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and the church choir, a former Bedford Borough Councilman, a past member of the Bedford Rotary Club and a former Boy Scout Master for Troop 79 in Bedford.
