Richard’s son Anthony inherited the Little Wolford estate when his father’s will was overturned in 1565, and he recovered his father’s other manors and lands in the same year, as shown by one of the deeds in the Severne sale. In 1574 he married Dorothy the daughter of Sir John Hungerford of Down Ampney in Gloucestershire, and they had four children. He died in 1600, and this was the year associated with him in Barbara INGRAM’s list of family members.
