Dr Charles H Barker, Jr

Charles H. Barker is a son of Dr. Charles H. and Mary A. (Small) Barker, who came from Buxton, Me., to Wayne in 1851 where Doctor Barker bought the practice of Doctor Cary, and continued to practice medicine here until his health failed, abt. 1887, when his son, Charles H., jun., came to live with him from Winthrop where he had carried on dentistry. Since his father's death in June, 1891, Charles H., jun., has carried on farming and dental work. He m. R. Louise dau. of A.K.P. Burgess, and they have three children: A. Louise, Mary A. and Albion C.
