About Dr. William Babcock Maxson
Educated at De Ruyter and Ann Arbor. Served in the Civil War. Graduated from University of Michigan Medical School (1870-1871). (attached picture but not sure which one.)
2 family stories: 1) He left when 1st wife (Nancy Eloise Gill) died. Went west for about 10 years. Returned and was not allowed to see daugher (Ollievette). He killed himself- jumped from window) Birmingham house.
2) William B. Maxson left his home in 1872 never to be heard from again.
