Fritz Keller (* 17th August 1878 in Ostrov ; † 14. December 1938 in Vienna ) was an Austrian architect .
Fritz Keller was of Jewish origin and his real family name was Kohn . He studied from 1897 to 1903 at the school of the technical university in Vienna with Karl Mayreder , during which he also did an internship during his studies from 1900 to 1901. In 1901 he had his name officially changed to Keller . After obtaining his diploma, Keller was an assistant at the Lehrkanzel for architecture, architectural drawing and a painterly perspective of the technical university at Karl Mayreder from 1903 to 1905. In 1905, Dr. techn. From 1906 he was freelance as an architect, and from 1910 to 1912 he entered a studio community with his former classmate Fritz von Herzmanovsky-Orlando . Keller died in 1938 under unexplained circumstances and was buried at the Vienna Central Cemetery. Fritz Keller's son was the musician and musicologist Hans Keller (1919-1985), who moved to England in 1938.
