Mrs. Dussette Bodenheimer Succumbs to Illness
Mrs. Dussette Bodenheimer of the Noble apartments died last night at 11:30 o'clock at the Illinois Central hospital where she had been ill since Sunday evening. She was 80 years of age.
Mrs. Bodenheimer, born in Baden, Germany, was a sister of Henry and Simon Dryfuss, deceased. She came to Paducah about sixty years ago and married Mr. Louis Bodenheimer and lived in Paducah continuously since that time.
During the last few years, although a semi-invalid and unable to be out, Mrs. Bodenheimer was always interested in the progress and growth of Paducah. Sunday evening she slipped and fell, breaking her hip and dislocating her shoulder, and owing to her advanced age, she was unable to survive the shock.
The immediate relatives surviving are: a brother, Leopold Dryfuss; the following nieces, Mrs. Mamye Dryfuss Grudenebaum of Paducah; Mrs. Govriel Rosenthal, of Paducah; Mrs. Joseph Frankel of Atlanta, Ga.; Mrs. Sara cole of Louisville and the following nephews: Mrssrs, James, Charles and Ben Weille: Dr. B. P. Dryfuss of New York City, J. W. bernheim of Louisville, Frank Bernheim of Louisville, Barney Dryfuss of Pittsburg, and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Roth funeral parlors with Rabbi Harry Richmond, officiating. The pallbearers will be: Messrs. A. L. Frank, Louis Rubet, Herman Ackerman, L. P. Blum, Gerriel Rosenthal, Sam Dryfuss.
