About Ebenezer Frissell
From the book, Centennial Proceedings and Historical Incidents of the Early Settlers of ... By John Gregory: "Ebenezer Frizzell was born in Weathersfield, Conn., January 10, 1766, and came to Northfield in the year of 1823. He kept tavern at the Center Village awhile, and ran the tannery near the Center. He married Azubah Hayward, who was born March 12, 1771, and they had nine children:
Caleb, b 1795; James, b 1797; Erastus, b 1801; Eliza, b 1804; Electa, b 1805; Azuba, b 1807; Sarah, b 1808; Ebenezer, b 1811; Harriet, b 1817. All born in Randolph, VT.
Mrs. Frizzell died in 1847; Mr Frizzell died in 1849."
