POCATELLO — Lucina Gustaveson Whitworth was born in Chesterfield, Idaho, May 12, 1924, to Carl Richard Gustaveson and Lucina Sessions Gustaveson. January 26, 1946, Lucina married Edgar Lee W h i t w o r t h in Malad, Idaho. The Whitworths remained in Chesterfield, where they farmed and raised their children, Richard Whitworth, Mary Lee Whitworth and Owen Whitworth. In 1970, Edgar and Lucina sold their Chesterfield farm and moved to Pocatello. Lucina was preceded in death by twin sons, George and Gene Whitworth, who died shortly after birth, her husband, Edgar, in 1977, and two grandsons. Surviving are three children, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Lucina passed from this earthly life on February 20, 2009. Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Chesterfield Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 11 a.m. Burial will be next to her husband in the Chesterfield Cemetery.
