Edna R. Pyle, 91, Somerset, formerly of Rockwood, passed on Feb. 15, 2009, at Somerset Hospital. Born Nov. 9, 1917, in Uppper Turkeyfoot Township, she is the daughter of the late Wilson and Rachel (Geary) Pyle. She is also preceded in death by her brother John Pyle and sisters Mary O'Brien, Bertha Miller, Ruby Resh, Lena Hillegas and Nellie Miller. She is survived by her sister, Martha Armstrong of Rockwood, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a devoted member of the Rockwood Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Wednesday, the time of service at Miller Funeral Home, Somerset, Pastor Patrick Walsh officiating. Interment at Somerset County Memorial Park.
