Nancy Anderson quotes from the the journals:"Tuesday 27 December 1842, "(Mr. Anderson) dispatched Edouard Lolo and Marineau's brother in law to Kamloops with the letters rec'd yesterday" Monday 11 September 1843, "Dispatch M. Ogden, Montigny, E. Lolo & Lafleche (the last as guide) to the barrier on Chilcotin River to trade salmon. Edward Lolo and his father are also mentioned in the Journal of the Thompson River Post.
