About Eduard Doctor Doctor von Hohenlangen
cf. WALK/WENGRAF FAMILY CORRESPONDENCE. A letter dated 2nd. July 1913, written by Vera SELIGMANN (later married GUTH) to her "cousin" Erny WENGRAF (later married WALK) is on paper bearing the letterhead of the Eduard DOCTOR weaving factory. The content of the letter shows clearly that Vera is employed for the firm, performing some sort of secretarial/ clerical duties. The tone of it is particularly pleasantly chatty, friendly, "girlie"...
Respective letterhead is posted under "Media", together with the opening & closing of Vera's communication to Erny.
Eduard Doctor, therefore, was apparently owner/head of a fabric-producing company (k. u. k.) under his name, involving both the weaving and finishing of textiles, located at separate branches in and around Nachod.
There was apparently an office (?) address in Wien, Werderthorgasse 17. This was probably where Vera SELIGMANN was working ...(pip)
