"On 15th of August of the Year of Our Lord, 1996 the undersigned curate of this parish baptized solemnly and anoited Eduardo Juan Francisco , with holy oils, who was born on 13th July 1896, lawful son of Jorge Antonio Gelin, native of France, aged 28 years and of Luisa Peñaloza, native of this country, aged 20 years, residing both in Colón, being his godparents Juan Francisco Gorostiri, native of Spain, aged 29 years and Victorina Garayburu, native of Spain, aged 62 years, both residing in Colón; whom the vicar warned about the spiritual relationship they had with their godchild and with his parents, as well as about the duty to teach him the Christian doctrine; and as a sign of truth, the parish curate, Luis Serzzafare, undersigned the foregoing certificate."
