Left WA and changed his name to Smith. aka Frank Bloomer and Frank Edward Smith. In November 1910 Frank Bloomer and his father Richard Bloomer with some other men were charged and fined by pretending to be travellers in order to drink at a number of different hotels in Perth. In seems that soon after this Frank went to South Australia to start a new life with a new name in Whyalla.
The Bunbury Herald reports on a case with Frank Bloomer on 7 December 1903: A 'Bloomer.' â At the police court this morning a youth named Frank Bloomer, aged 17, who had been arrested at Bunbury, was charged with having stolen a gold signet ring, valued at 35s, the property of Joseph Fisher,of Spring Hill. Accused, on whom the ring was found when taken into custody, was remanded for three days for the production of the warrant.
