Edward Naylor Eagle

Edward Naylor Eagle, aged 72 years and 8 days a native of Ashland, Oregon a resident of Klamath Falls, passed away in Portland, Oregon Monday July 27, 1942 at 11:50 p.m. having been in Portland for the last ten days for treatment. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Effie Eagle; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Wilson, Mrs. Della Winthers, and Miss Marjorie Eagle; one son Dwight N. Eagle all of Merrill, Ore., also a brother L.E. Eagle of Macon, Mississippi and two grandchildren. The remains lie in state at the family residence two and a half miles east of Merrill. Arrangements are in charge of Earl Whitlock Funeral Home.

  • *********** Funeral services for the late Edward Naylor Eagle who passed away in Portland, Ore. was held on Monday, July 27, 1942 following an illness of 18 days will be held in the First Methodist church at Merrill on Friday July 31, 942 at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Victor Phillips officiating.
