Edward Pyron White was born April 6, 1923 in Paris, Lamar County, Texas, the only child and son of Tilden Edward "Edd" White and Mary "Etha" (Pyron) White. His family lived in Blossom, Lamar County, TX, near Paris, then, later, they moved to Sour Lake, Hardin County, TX.

On Sunday, Nov 1, 1936, Edward Pyron White, age 13, died of pneumonia at St. Therese Hospital in Beaumont, TX. He had been ill for over a week. The funeral service was held in Paris, TX, at 4 pm on Monday, November 2, at Manton-Fry funeral chapel with the Rev. E. G. Beckman of First Presbyterian church presiding with interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Paris, Lamar County, Texas.

The body of Edward Pyron White was brought back from his home in Beaumont, TX to Paris, TX, for burial arriving Monday noon, Nov 2, 1936.

The funeral service was held at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon at Manton-Fry funeral chapel with interment at Evergreen cemetery, the Rev. E. G. Beckman of First Presbyterian church here officiating. Chester, Joe, Reece and Lonnie Pyron, Finis White and Charles Green were named pallbearers.
