BIOGRAPHY: http://boards.ancestry.netscape.com/surnames.carlow/45.1.1.1.1/mb.ashx (I have most of the information about Edward DeWolf Carlow. Edward Turner Carlow said his father, Edward DeWolf and his mother, Sarah, were killed by Indians. We are not sure when but it was after 1860 because I have Edward DeWolf on the 1860 census. The children, Edward, Fannie and Lucy were taken by the Indians. Lucy was sold to a Dutch family and evenually married one of the sons. Fannie was sold to an abusive family and evenually went in-sane. Edward lived with the Indian's until he was 16 and then became a Indian scout for the calvary. I was curious about Hiram's family.) posted by Tanya Meeks
