EDWARD MARSDEN WHITE, JR., mailing room foreman of the Herald-Mail Company for 19 years died suddenly yesterday at his home on the Leitersburg Pike. He was 52 years old.
Mr. White had gone to bed for a brief nap late yesterday morning. He was found dead when he failed to respond to a call from his wife about an hour later. Born and reared in the Leitersburg District, he was a lifelong resident of that area.
He was a member of Christ's Evangelical and Reformed Church and the Clever-Smith Bible Class.
The only survivor is his wife, Mrs. Charlotte (Deibert) White. He was the son of the late Edward M. and Mary Katherine (Harter) White.
Funeral services were held at the Coffman Funeral Home; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery; pallbearers: Harry R. Monninger, Jr., Paul McNeal, Phil Elgin, Leroy Clopper, Donald Miles and Richard Harbaught.
