Eileen was married to Neal McNamee on 17th January 1912, in April of that year they were travelling to New York, partly as a honeymoon and partly so that Neal could take up a new job.
On hearing that Eileen was leaving for New York, the Superintendent of Salisbury Baptist Church who was also Mayor of Salisbury at the time, Mr W. Eileen's body was recovered by the MacKay Bennett (#53). On 22 April 1912 her body was buried at sea.
