Ejijah Karatowsky

I do not know for sure if Elijah and Jacob are brothers. I know via DNA matching of descendants of both Jacob and Elijah, that they must be closely related. Most likely brothers, possibly first cousins. Also, records show Elijah's son Robert lived in the same areas as Jacob and Jacob's son Isaac. A newspaper article mentions Robert, Isaac's wife, and Isaac's sister together.

There were several spellings of the family surname used by several relatives including: Karatofsky, Karotofsky, Korotofsky, Korotovsky, Karatowsky. Several of Elijah's descendants changed the name to Kay.
