Akiba Frankfurter affirms that his ancester Eleazar was from Neuss on the Rhein, city whose jews were expelled in 1470.
In 1497, an Eleazar, son of the erudit Moses and assessor at the jewish tribunal of Prague could be him, a Moses of Neuss is also mentionned along the rhein in Bingen in 1446 and at Lorch after 1460 until 1470.
All these early generations are only reasonnable speculations
