About Eleazar Guggenheim

Same as Eleazar assesseur au tribunal juif de Prague en 1497?

ELE Toldot by Shlomo Ettlinger is the source of many items. 36 volumes representing all sources on Frankfurt families from 1241until 1824

Other sources: Horowitz and Dietz (but less reliable)

Akiba Frankfurter affirms that his ancester Eleazar was from Neuss on the Rhein, city whose jews were expelled in 1470.

In 1497, an Eleazar, son of the erudit Moses and assessor at the jewish tribunal of Prague could be him, a Moses of Neuss is also mentionned along the rhein in Bingen in 1446 and at Lorch after 1460 until 1470.

All these early generations are only reasonnable speculations
