Eli Roberts married Mary Mallory, who went on to marry three more husbands.

The children of William and Joanna Roberts are well documented. Their births and/or baptisms were recorded in Milford. They were named in William's will. Eli is not among these children. He is treated as a separate family by D.L. Jacobus in the the Families of Ancient New Haven.[1]

He married Mary Mallory, d/o Peter and Mary Mallory, who was born 28 Nov 1656 in New Haven. After Eli's death wife Mary married Henry Cook and 3rd Jeremiah How.[1]
