Elias Fischer, Familiant #74 of Gaya

There were two men called ELIAS FISCHER evident in Gaya at the same time; each was a familiant. The other Elias Fischer was Elias Fischer, Familiant 55.

Elias #74, of this Profile page, later added Fleischhauer to his name, was born Dec. 3, 1796 to Josef Fischer & Marianne, in Haus #8, Gaya.

Elias Fischer Fleischhauer, Familiant #74 and wife "Werhan" / "Nehamy" (?) had :

• Löbl, b. Feb. 1, 1818 to Elias and Wer....
• Hany, whose name looks like Fany, b. early March, 1819 (same screen, right side) to Elias and Werhan, name spelled clearly.
• Emanuel, b. Jan. 1(?), 1821 to Elias and "Nehamy" (same "mother's first name" appears on line above). No Familiant number yet. Witness was Lazar Platzek. Emanuel, son of Elias Fischer and Netti Platzek, married Franziska Knöpfelmacher on March 13, 1851; she was dau. of Markus K. and Marianna geb. David (see Elias1852 birth record, following). Emanuel & Franziska had Maximilian, born November 12, 1853. Emanuel & Franziska had Elias, born Jan. 5, 1852. Emanuel and Franziska had a son Lazar, born Sept. 12, 1857. Emanuel & Franziska had Adolphine, born Nov. 25, 1858. An Emanuel Fischer born ca. 1820/21 died May 10, 1878, Haus #227 in Gaya, age 58.
• Abraham, b. December 13, 1824 to Elias and "Nacha". Witness was Jakob Buxbaum.
• . . . . . With Amalia geb. Langer, whom Elias married on August 19, 1829 per 1848 child's birth record:
• Child ______ born March 3, 1831. Looks like Lazar, but the "girl" column is checked. Mother was Amalia. Elias is Fam. #74.
• Josef, b. May 20, 1832; mother Amalia . . . Elias Fam. #74. Joseph Fischer has a dau. Ida in Gaya in 1861.
• Salomon Herschl, b. Nov. 11, 1833; mother Amalia. Elias Fam. #74.
• Godlieb, b. July 9, 1837, mother is Amalia dau. Jakob Langer. Elias Fam. #74. Son Alfred born mid-1871, died Jan. 18, 1875 and 3-1/2. Gottlieb appears as godparent on the 1875 birth of Charlotte Mandl geb. Redlich's son Karl. Gottlieb died April 27, 1904 in Gaya, age 67. Kaufmann.
• Ignatz, b. March 9, 1839, mother Amalie, dau. Jakob Langer. Elias Fam. #74.
• Katharina, b. July 15, 1841, mother Amalie, dau. Jakob Langer. Elias Fam. #74.
• Mayer, b. Oct. 5, 1842, mother is Amalie, dau. Jakob Langer. Elias was Familiant #74.
• Michael, b. Oct 11, 1844, mother was Amalia geb. Langer. Elias was Familiant #74. Godparent was Isak Muller.
• Josefine, b. Jan. 28, 1848; mother is Anna geb. Langer, and her mother was Güttal Krammer of Gaya. Anna geb. Langer and Elias Fischer, Fam. No. 74, had been married August 19, 1829.

The second Elias Fischer died July 4, 1881 in Gaya, at age 86" (b. 1795). Haus #23, where wife Amalie died in 1886. No wife's name given on Elias's death record.

Samuel Fischer, was born May 1, 1804 to Markus & Katl. Witness to the birth was Simon Platzek. At age 29 (b. 1803/04), Familiant No. 12 in Gaya, he married Josepha Kämpf, 20, in Gaya on Oct. 24, 1832. Witnesses were Mondschein and Kornblüh--not their parents. Later called Pauline, J. was dau. of Abraham Löb Kämpf of Gaya and Malka dau. of Herschel Hausner; she was not from Gaya. (Marriage date & Pauline's name appear on son's 1850 birth record). Children:

• Markus Oct. 29, 1835 in Gaya.
• Herschel Löbl May 19, 1836 in Gaya. Samuel was Familiant No. 12
• Michael April 27, 1838. Pauline was dau. of Abraham Löb Kämpf of Gaya.

• Ernestina Jan. 1, 1844 in Gaya. Married at 21 in Feb. 1875 to Josef, son of Hermann Placzek of Domborvitz.

• Eduard January 12, 1852. His maternal grandmother was Malka Kämpf geb. Hausner.

A Josef Fischer & wife Sara had a son Salomon June 26, 1823 in Gaya. Witness was Moises Weinberger. Josef's Familiant number, if he had one, is not shown.

An earlier Josef Fischer and wife Maria geb. Buxbaum had dau. Betty whose son Salomon Fiallo was born in 1823 (per late listing in the 1840s section of Gaya Births). Betty was married to Löbl Fiallo and several more of their children are listed late on the next Gaya Births image page.

Salomon Fischer, Gaya Familiant #52 in 1843, and wife July, dau. of Michael Freund, had children who appear on the Salomon Fischer Geni Profile. Salomon was Fam. #52. It appears from the Kyjov Familianten list that Salomon inherited his spot #52 from Joseph, Familiant No. 52, who was his father.

Elias Fischer (1793-1850), familiant #55, was married three times, while the other Elias Fischer (1796-1881), familiant #74, was married just once.

Elias, b. 1793, was married 1st, in March 1815, to Nechama [aka "Netti", aka Barbara] Platzek, dau of Lazar Platzek. By her, he had four children: Lobl (1818), Hany (1819), Emanuel (1821-1878), and Abraham (1824). Nechama died, and Elias married 2nd, 15 March 1828, Magdalena Buxbaum, age 17. This marriage record indicates that he was 35 and a WIDOWER at the time of his marriage. By Magdalena, he fathered Ester (1831), Lilly (1834), and Maria (c1836). Magdalena then died, and Elias m. 3rd, 26 Jan. 1839, Anna Knopfelmacher (b. 1818), dau. of Markus and Marianna (David) Knopfelmacher of Zarosice. By Anna, Elias was the father of six more children: Peppi (1840), Markus (1841), Jacob (1842), twins Joseph and Ferdinand (1845), and Johann (1849).

When the other Elias (1796-1881), familiant #74, was married to Amalia [aka Anna] Langer, age 18, on 18 August 1829, he is listed as "ledig" -- meaning he had no previous marriages. This therefore rules him out as the husband of Nechama Platzek, and confirms that his marriage to Amalia Langer was his one and only marriage.
