About Elin Monsdotter Enerson
Ellen and 6 of the children; Olivia - 11 years., John 10 years, Swen 8 years, Mathilda 3 1/2 years, and Minnie 13 months came to America in 1883. Lena Peterson and Emma Thompson - a cousin of Olof Enarsson came with her to help with the children. When getting on the boats, Lena and Emma with Swen, got on a different boat and so traveled to New York. Imagine the anxiety of great grandma Ellen of not having the one child with her!
