Elise (52), was shot dead during an attempted robbery at Annan Road, Carletonville, near Absa Bank, on 14th October 2013.

At the end of August 2014, Elias Moratege Molantoa (42) from Khutsong, was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery with aggravating circumstances, murder, pointing a firearm, possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition. He was sentenced to 64 years in prison. His co-accused Johannes Mokete Molantoa (37), was sentenced to 56 years imprisonment for his involvement. They will both be eligible for parole after 23 years.
