Here lyes buried the Body of Mrs ELIZABETH BARTLETT the virtuous wife of SAMUEL BARTLETT Esqr and daughter to the Honble ISAAC LOTHROP Esqr (Decd) & ELIZABETH his wife departed this life Novr ye 1st 1745 in the 41st year of Her age and lies inter'd by 5 of Her Children only one child surviving.

Married second: Elizabeth widow of Thomas Withrell on Nov. 24, 1748. (Note: According to "Genealogical Register of Plymouth Families" by William T. Davis, Samuel's 2nd wife Elizabeth also had the maiden name "Lothrop.")
