Elizabeth Caroline was born to parents, James and Arsina (Trimmier) Blair. 1900 Census tells us that she was born in Georgia.

Elizabeth married Andrew Jackson Beall and they moved to Wolf Creek in Pearl River County, Mississippi. They liked the area and decided to settle there. A short time later they moved to Gumpond Road, and as far as can be determined, they were the first white people to settle in the Gumpond area. They built a home and later the first school in that community.

It was here they raised their family of 8 children. Their names were: Agustus born Feb.14, 1845, George born April 25, 1847, Thomas Andrew born Aug. 18, 1856, Joseph "Joe" born 1868 and 4 girls named Kate, Arsiner, Alice and Rose.

Elizabeth's beloved husband Andrew died in 1898. Elizabeth remained a widow until her death 5 years later on January 29, 1903. Elizabeth and Andrew both are laid to rest in Gus Beall Cemetery in Pearl River County, Mississippi.
