PAUL Betty Paul service Jan. 30 A memorial service will be held Jan. 30 at the chapel of Mountain View Funeral Home for Pauline Elizabeth (Betty) Paul, nee Thomas who died peacefully at Hospice House at Vernon on Jan. 27. Born at Armstrong on Feb. 22, 1924, Betty married Donald Cameron Paul in 1944. The couple lived at Vernon for 25 years, Kimberly, Cranbrook and returned to Armstrong in 1994. Mrs. Paul enjoyed her family, gardening and doing crafts. She is survived by her husband Donald at Vernon, daughters and sons, Dianne Savage (Bill) at Quesnel, Edward at Kamloops, Patty Prosser (Dennis) at Falkland, Bud Paul at Winnipeg. Also surviving are six grandchildren, five great grandchildren; three sisters Mabel Postill at Vernon, Elsie Needoba and Marjorie Prior, both at Armstrong, nieces and nephews. The service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Cremation. Friends wishing to remember Betty Paul may make memorial contributions to the Hospice House at Vernon.
