Middlesex Co, VA Will Book C (1740-1748) written 21 Feb 1742 and recorded 1 Mar 1742: "In the name of God Amen, I John Miller of the County of Middlesex, being weak through age and indisposition of body but enjoying the true use and force of my reason and understanding do make my will and dispose of my estate in manner following. Viz:

Septimo, I leave to my daughter, Ann Barbee and John, her husband, one shilling and the same sum to wit, one shilling to my daughter, Eliza Bowler and her husband.
