• ii. James Monroe, b. 1758, d. 1831, fifth President of the United States ; m . New York City, 16 Feb. 1786 Elizabeth Kort right (1768-1830, daughter of Capt. Laurence Kor tright. Most of the descendants of President and Mrs. Monroe are to be found in Henry's Gene a logies of the Families of the Presidents.
