Parents of Elizabeth were Horace Pierce (1795-1872), and Anna Robins(1895-1881).

Elizabeth had Samuel Vinton Pierce two months prior to her marriage to a John Bagley. It is believed that our Samuel Vinton was not a Bagley.

Elizabeth left her son, Samuel Vinton, with her parents when he was very young and disappeared. It is not know whether she died early, stayed married to Bagley or remarried as she was never found again. Her son Samuel Vinton was raised by grandparents as their son and took their last name of Pierce. This memorial is only set up to follow the line.
