Elizabeth Cockrell-Parker (Sanders)

Elizabeth is the daughter of Andrew Jackson Sanders and Frances (Dyer) Sanders. The family moved from Mississippi to Jackson Parish Louisiana around 1846. While in Louisiana she married an unknown Cockrell, possibly Joseph Cockrell, from nearby Ouachita Parish. They had 3 children born in Louisiana, Jane, William and Frances. Elizabeth's husband died around the time Frances was born in 1865. Shortly thereafter, they moved, with her father, and some of her siblings, to Edgewood, Van Zandt Co Texas. Elizabeth married George D Parker and they had 3 children, twins Carrell and Ferrell who both died young and Ella who was born in 1871. Elizabeth died around 1873.

Regarding her children, only William J Cockrell, Frances H Cockrell and Ella Parker lived past 1900.
