There are online family trees that imagine Elizabeth to be the daughter of Richard Carye of Bristol. However, there is no known evidence to support this.

I give the brides birth place as Chedzoy as the marriage usually took place in the brides home town. The wedding procession began at the brides home and went to the church. http://www.dfwx.com/medieval_cult.html This does not prove this is the family of Thomas Cogan
