“ 5. WILLIAM DANIEL, (James'), b. 1710–14 (?); d—; m. 1740 (?), ELIZABETH (WATKINS) WOODSON, widow of Jacob [SIC: Benjamin] Woodson.

By her first marriage Mrs. Daniel had Jacob, Joel and Susanna. Mr. D. was "tall, of fair skin, and blue eyes. His sons were all farmers and his daughters m. farmers. His wife was noted for industry and lived to be upwards of 90 years old” (Mrs. Worthy Allen.)
