By her first marriage Mrs. Daniel had Jacob, Joel and Susanna. Mr. D. was "tall, of fair skin, and blue eyes. His sons were all farmers and his daughters m. farmers. His wife was noted for industry and lived to be upwards of 90 years old” (Mrs. Worthy Allen.)

Elizabeth Watkins was born in 1712 in Henrico, Virginia to parents Thomas Watkins of Swift Creek and Elizabeth Pride.

She married William Daniel in May 1734 in Goochland, Virginia.

Children: Woodson, William Pride, Judith Daniel, Benjamin, Hezekiah, William, Benjamin, Sarah (Sally), Mary, Elizabeth (Betty), Judith, John, Rhoda, Mary (Polly), Hezekiah.

She died on 22 Mar 1802 in Cumberland, Virginia.

Ambiguity

Daniel family genealogies call him Jacob Woodson. Woodson genealogies call him Benjamin Woodson.

Benjamin Woodson Married Elizabeth Watkins, daughter of Thomas Watkins of Swift Creek. Their children were Thomas, Jacob, and Elizabeth.
