Elizabeth F De Fehr (Janzen)

Elizabeth was born in Russia and was married before arriving in Canada. She is listed on the S.S. Peruvian No. 30 with Isaak. Her parents and siblings also arrived on the same ship.

Isaak and Elizabeth settled in Osterwick along with her parents and later moved to the Swift Current area in Saskatchewan. The family went to Mexico in the 1920's. Her son, Franz wrote letters to his cousins asking for financial help. In the letters he gave information about Elizabeth's death as well as Sarah's death and the birth dates of Sarah and Abraham Neufeld's children. The letters were written in German.

Sarah (mentioned above) was the daughter of Johan and Sarah (Wiebe) Janzen.

She arrived in Quebec 13 Jul 1875 on the S.S. Peruvian No. 30. They settled in Osterwick, Manitoba, Canada.
