Elizabeth Andrews, daughter of Francis Andrews and Anna, was mentioned in the 1662 will of her father.[1] She was born perhaps in Hartford, about 1643 based on baptism of brother in 1646. Jacobus has no further records.

Jacob was the son and eldest child of Giles Gibbs and Kathern Carwithe - he was baptized on 28 March 1629/30 at St. Sidwell, Exeter, England.[1]
An island in the Windsor Rivulet, at a place the Indians called Matumpsech, opposite the point called 'Indian Neck', was deeded to Jacob Gibbs 26 May 1670 by the Indian owner, Sepanquet, son of Sassohegan.
He married Elizabeth Andrus/Androus/Andrews 4 Dec 1657 - their children were:[2]
