Martin Egan, State Regent 1973-1976, page 167: Henry Horn made an affidavit on 10 Mar 1833 at the age of 78 years old stating his and his wife Elizabeth Trone's vital history and also describing his military service in the American Revolution. He reported that Elizabeth was born in Pa. and died in Lexington, VA in 1815.
"She would have been twenty years old in 1782 when she married Henry Horn. Twenty-one years old was the commonly accepted age of marriage for the American colonists and Elizabeth Trone was one year short of 21 years old when she wed."
