At the time of her Marriage, Elizabeth was aged 22 years and from the Farm 'Uitvlucht ' Heilbron District.

Her husband, Stefanus Lourens Janse van Rensburg was aged 24 years, a Bachelor ( Jongman ) and Livestock Farmer ( Veeboer ) from ' Uitkyk ' Heilbron District.

They were Married at the NG Kerk, Heilbron after Banns ( na Huweliks Geboden ) on 3 December 1894 by Presiding Minister, Ds D.J. Minnaar VDM in the presence of the following Witnesses :
