Elizabeth Jane “Betty” Reinhard, 89, of Wesley Village, Pittston, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born March 11, 1925, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Cecelia Grady Bernhard. She attended Allentown schools and earned her LPN degree in Fort Smith, AR.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Myron “Mike” Reinhard, her son Captain Michael Reinhard and her brother Edward Bernhard.

Surviving are daughters Linda & husband Thomas Reiser of Wheaton, IL; Patrice & husband John Della Rosa, Laflin, PA.; daughter in Law Margaret Margolis of Myrtle Beach, SC; seven grandchildren: Kristin Reinhard, Amy Reiser, Christine Smith, Molly Reiser, Matthew & wife Kelly Della Rosa, Kevin Della Rosa, and Timothy Della Rosa ; seven Great Grandchildren. brother John of Allentown, PA In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s name to the American Heart Association, or the American Cancer Society.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Saturday at St. Maria Goretti Church, Laflin. Friends may call at the church from 9:00am Saturday until the time of the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Blue Church Cemetery, Coopersburg, PA.
