DENOUNCEMENT BY BILL JOBE (Bill Jobe Journal, Vol 1, #2, p. 33)

"As Andrew Job was well-educated and a personal friend and compani on of William Penn, it would seem that he had returned to England for h is education. There were no universities in the colonies except for Harvar d, and it would have been impossible that a Quaker could attend Puritan Ha rvard during the seventeenth century.

It must be noted that Andrew did not marry until the age of forty-t wo and that all his children, except the last, had Biblical names. He w as sixty years of age when Patience was born; it would seem that her na me was a double joke.

Will of ANDREW JOB, JR. specified his wife as executrix. It provid ed land for the adult sons, the money with which to build houses, and p ay for the keep of the workmen. He also provided for his minor childre n, and left money to his son-in-law and his four grandchildren. His signat ure was affixed to the will."
