Obituary: "Mrs. Elizabeth Mackey: Age 88, wife of the late John M. Mackey, a long time resident here, died at 9:00 o'clock last night at the home of here son, Harry Mackey. She was born October 23, 1848 a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas McDaniel. She was married Dec 24, 1874 to John M. Mackey and they lived near Okolona. their golden wedding anniversary was celebrated in 1924. Mrs. Mackey is survived by one daughter Mrs. Alice Turner, Wisner LA, and by five sons, Albert of Little Rock, Bob of Fordyce, Clifford of Delight, Fred of Jena, LA and Harry of Arkadelphia. the funeral, in charge of Harris Funeral Home, was held at the home at 4:00 o'cl;ock this afternoon. The Rev. H. B. Vaught of the Methodist Church conducted the rites.
