Elizabeth Marsh

53. Elizabeth GILLETT was born in 1688 in Hartford, Hartford, Connecticut.365

She was married to Ebenezer MARSH (son of Samuel MARSH and Mary ALLISON). Ebenezer MARSH was born on May 1, 1687 in Hatfield, Hampshire, Massachusetts.366 He died on September 9, 1747 in Sunderland, Franklin, Massachusetts.367 The History of Hadley, Massachusetts, by Sylvester Judd, published by New Hampshire Publishing Company, Somersworth, 1976, p. 91

 One of the 40 first settlers of Sunderland; home lot No. 9, East side.  He sold his homestead in 1728 to Dea. Isaac Hubbard, and apparently removed to Hadley.  In 1742 he purchased lot No. 1 and a part of lot No. 2, East side, and returned here, and perhaps, ultimately, to Hunting Hills.  He had a wife, Elizabeth (Gillett) when he came to Sunderland, and brought his three surviving children.  Elizabeth GILLETT and Ebenezer MARSH had the following children:

i. Elizabeth MARSH (born on June 4, 1710).

ii. Ebenezer MARSH was born on June 4, 1710 in Sunderland, Franklin, Massachusetts.368 He died about 1711 in Sunderland, Franklin, Massachusetts. Died soon.

iii. Ephraim MARSH was born on June 12, 1712 in Sunderland, Franklin, Massachusetts.369 He died on August 1, 1714 in Sunderland, Franklin, Massachusetts.370

iv. Esther MARSH (born on July 15, 1714). (married a Sawyer, and their daughter Esther marrried a Gunn?)

v. Ebenezer MARSH (born on October 19, 1716).

vi. Ephraim MARSH (born on October 24, 1718).

vii. Enos MARSH (born on December 11, 1721).

viii. Dorothy MARSH (born on July 28, 1723).

ix. Mary MARSH was born on November 16, 1725 in Sunderland, Franklin, Massachusetts

x. Thankful MARSH (born on March 15, 1728).

xi. Hannah MARSH (born on October 18, 1733).
