Elizabeth Myler

At present there is no hard evidence to confirm the parents of Elizabeth. If anyone has seen or has copies of her birth, baptism or marriage records please share. Strong family recollection is that Elizabeth was born in Malacca and came to Singapore to work as a nurse. Another family recollection is that she is sister to Mary Eleanor Scully nee Rozells (whose descendants in Singapore are also uncertain about the identity of her parents). Elizabeth also gave birth to her daughter Ida in Malacca, suggesting this could have been while visiting family there. As far as I know Wenceslaus and Jeromina lived in Penang. Doesn't quite fit. I am trying to find the marriage record for Daniel Myler and Elizabeth Rozells as tis would list her parents or baptism records in Malacca for Elizabeth and Mary Eleanor. - Peter Boyle
