Elizabeth Reynolds

Biography

Elizabeth Merryman was born circa 1658, in Lancaster county, Virginia, the daughter of John Merryman and Audrie Haynie. Both of her parents were born in England. Elizabeth married William Reynolds, born 1655, in Isle of Wight County, Virginia, who died before 1 Jan 1701 at St. Mary’s Parish, Richmond County, Virginia. He was the son of Cornelius Reynolds.

2. James Reynolds, b. Aft 1675, Petsoe Parish, Gloucester County, Virginia d. 16 Jun 1724, St. Anne's Parish, Essex County, Virginia - Probate. Married Susannah.
3. William Reynolds, Jr. b. Aft 1675, Richmond County, Virginia d. Aft 1725, Richmond County, Virginia.
4. John Reynolds, b. Bef 1677, St. Mary's Parish, Old Rappahannock County, Virginia d. 21 May 1717, St. Mary's Parish, Essex County, Virginia. Wife unnamed, probably a daughter of Richard Long.
5. Cornelius Reynolds, b. Aft 1675, England d. 18 Feb 1733/34, St. Anne's Parish, Essex County, Virginia - probate. Married Martha Beazley.
6. Elizabeth Reynolds, b. Abt 1696, Hanover Parish, Richmond County, Virginia d. Bef 15 May 1738, St. George's Parish, Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Married Brumfield Long.

• iii. Charles MERRYMAN. (b. abt-1657) who moved to Baltimore County. Maryland as an adult. Married Mary Haile.
