About Elizabeth Robertson (Bolling)
THIS IS ELIZABETH BOLLING ROBERTSON not to be confused with Elizabeth Blair Bolling Bland who was her grandmother. SHE IS NOT ELIZABETH (GAY) BOLLING, that is her mother. Gay was her mothers maiden name but was not Elizabeth's middle name.
Elizabeth Bolling, was the daughter of Thomas Bolling and his wife Elizabeth (Gay) Bolling, born between 1750 and 1760 at Cobbs Plantation in Chesterfield, Virginia. She married William Robertson about 1775 and together they had 9 children, their youngest son being Wyndham Robertson. Elizabeth Died in 1830 and is buried at Cobbs Cemetery in Enon, Chesterfield, Virginia. There is a memorial stone there dedicated to Col, John Bolling of Cobbs (1676-1729), William Robertson, Elizabeth Bolling Robertson and their son Wyndham Robertson.
