Death of Mrs. Elizabeth Schneider.
Mrs. Elizabeth Schneider, wife of the late P. J. Schneider, died Saturday at 7:05 p.m. at her home, 413 1/2 East Fourth street, after an illness of .several years. Mrs. Schneider, who was 58 years old, was born April 25, 1876, at Glencoe, Wis. Survivors are: One son, Clarence; two granddaughters, Jeanette and Joyce; a niece, Miss Bernardine Schneider; who had been with Mrs. Schneider for the past 12 years; her stepmother, Mrs. Veto Reck, Independence, Wis.; two sisters , Mrs. John B. Sobotta and Mrs. John Meier, Arcadia, Wis.; five brothers , Peter and Gust Reck , Arcadia , Frank Reck , Whitehall , Wis., and John and George Reck , Winona ; five half brothers, Paul, Joe, Veto and Rudolph Reck, Independence, Wis., and Sam Reck, Milwaukee, and seven half sisters, Mrs. John Walek, Mrs. Roman Smieja, Mrs. Carl Kampa and Mrs. Joe Killian Independence, Mrs. Fred Gara, Milwaukee , and Sister Mary Viatrix and Sister Mary Idaberg, Milwaukee. Mrs. Schneider was a member of St. Ann society, St. Joseph' s church, and of Court No. 953, Women's Catholic Order of Foresters. She had resided here for 36 years. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph' s church , the Rev. Joseph Schneider of Adams, Minn., officiating. Rev. Schneider will be assisted by the Rev. George Jaegen, pastor of St. Joseph's church, and the Rev. Alphonse Diekmann, assistant pastor. Burial will be in St. Mary 's cemetery. The body will be at the home of her son, 566 East Fourth street, until the hour of the services.
