Elizabeth Shapleigh

This Elizabeth appears to be a commingling of three possibly separate Elizabeths:

• wife of John Shapleigh
• daughter of Sir William Martin of Athelhampton (in Pidleton, Dorset, England) by either an unidentified 3rd wife or an unidentified extramarital partner
• wife of John Carew of Haccombe

Although it is possible that all three are the same woman, no proof has yet been revealed.
