Elizabeth Eaton Petratus 75, of 170 East Greene Street, died at Sunday, October 30, 1983, in the home of her daughter, Betty Lint, of Poland, Ohio, following a short illness. She was born February in a daughterof William R. and Isabella Buterbaugh Eaton. Her first husband, Joe Stiles, was killed in the Mather Mine explosion in 1928. Her second husband, Frank died in 1974. Mrs. lied lived most of her life in Greene County and had resided in Waynesburg since 1943. She was a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church, and the Fidelis Class of the church. She was also a member and very active in the Keystone Senior Citizens and was recognized with its Outstanding Semor Citizen award ln 1982 as well as lhe Pennsylvania Senior Citizen award. She also received special recognition with awards from the United Way and Community Action Corp. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Leonard (Betty) Unt, Ohlo, Mrs. Stanford (Isabella) Zimmerman and Mrs. Richard (Nancy) Ketchem, both of one son, Joe W. Stiles, of Rices Landing; 14 grandchildren; 10 two sisters, Mrs. Phamie Crable and Mrs. Callaghan, both of Mather, and three brothers, George Eaton of Grindstone, Grandville Ealon of and Charles Eaton of Pittsburgh. Three brothers, Wesley, John and William Eaton, are deceased.
