Family legend says there is Coushatta blood in the family. Could it be from Elizabeth's mother's line?

Legend says when she was a girl they had a game - She jumped off the porch and her father caught her before she could fall...most of the time.

but every once in a while he would wait until she was in the air, then deliberatly step back so that she would hit the ground, then insist she jump again. This time he would catch her.
