Elizabeth POOLE was born before 1738 in Brunswick County, VA.

She was married to John WATSON, Jr. before 1757 in Lunenburg County, VA. Date of marriage estimated from the date of the land sale by William Poole to John Watson Jr. for a token sum. John WATSON, Jr. died about 1784 in Mecklenburg County, VA. The appraisal of John's estate was recorded in Mecklenburg County on June 14, 1784. 1757 - On April 2, 1757 William Poole deeded 100 acres of land on Mill Branch of Flatt creek, adjoining Maclin, to John Watson Jr. for one pound. The deed was recorded May 3, 1757 (Deed Book 4, page 397.)

1767 - John witnessed a land transaction between James Robertson and Epraim Mabry on September 13, 1767. Other witnesses were: Robert Cunningham and Lewis Parham.

1768 - On March 12, 1768 William Poole Sr. sold 30 acres on the west side of Flatt Creek to John Watson [sale was to John Jr. as John Sr. died about 1763] for 5 pounds. Witnesses were: James Blanks Daws, Jane Cleaton, and Sarah Daws. Recorded March 14, 1768 (Deed Book 1, page 539.)

1784 - Appraisal of John's estate was completed by William Poole, Thomas Tanner, and Samuel Holmes. The estate was valued at 280 pounds, 18 shillings, and 3 pence. The appraisal was completed on May 17, 1784 and was recorded June 14, 1784 (Will Book 2, page 55.) Elizabeth POOLE and John WATSON, Jr. had the following children:
