On 5 Oct 1780 when George was 25, he married Ezebellar Taylor1, daughter of George Taylor (~1720-1866), in Botetourt, VA. Born abt 1760 in of, Botetourt, VA. Ezebellar died in 1866, she was 106.

They had the following children:
